Dubai has no shortage of ways to spend your hard-earned money, and without a strict budget, brunches, dinners out and activities can quickly eat away at all the money you were planning to save and invest.  However, every once in a while, it is worth it to splurge for that special occasion if your budget goals have been met.  Here are some of our favorite ways to indulge in all that Dubai has to offer:

1) Atmosphere Lounge Afternoon Tea – 490 AED for a window table

Why it’s worth it:  What better way to see Dubai and relax over afternoon tea than up at the Burj Khalifa’s 122nd floor based At.mosphere Lounge boasting the world’s highest tea.  If afternoon tea does not interest you, you can also check out the At.mosphere Restaurant, the neighbor on the 122nd floor for lunch or dinner options.

2) Friday Brunch at Traiteur – Park Hyatt Dubai – 775 AED

Why it’s worth it:  If you are a foodie and enjoy a glass (or a few!) of champagne with your brunch, look no further than the mouthwatering brunch at the Traiteur Park Hyatt.  This brunch has been one of our early favorites when coming to Dubai, and has been slowly going up in price each year, making it a splurge compared to other brunches around town.  Make the most of the special occasion & opt to sit in the outdoor section when the weather is nice.

3) Burj Al Arab Culinary Flight – AED 1,250 / 1,945 with wine pairing

Why it’s worth it: The culinary flight is the perfect way to experience “world’s most luxurious hotel”,  Burj Al Arab, and five different restaurant offerings as you make your way through an exquisite 5-course meal.  We made this splurge for our 5-year anniversary, and it did not disappoint.  We were greeted by name and given impeccable service and food throughout the full evening.

4) Skydive Dubai – 1999 AED at the Palm Dropzone

Why it’s worth it: If you are looking for a thrill, there is no better place to experience skydiving.  With an amazing and professional staff that will make you feel at ease and a video included capturing the full experience, this is a true Dubai adventure that provides once-in-a-lifetime memories.

BONUS Indulgence!: Stay a night at Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa – Starting at 2,400 AED and up

Why it’s worth it: This majestic all-suite resort in the UAE desert offers a true getaway for any discerning traveler looking for a stay-cation nearby Dubai.  With less than 50 suites on site and only children over 10 allowed, the resort offers a quiet and peaceful respite from the bustling Dubai lifestyle.  Make the most of your stay by booking an appointment at the Timeless Spa or taking advantage of one of the many outdoor offerings such as archery, camel ride, falconry, or a desert safari.
